Have you ever noticed that a lot of places match their style with a certain smell as well? For example: if you walk into a gift shop, you’re likely going to get a strong aroma of candles. Or, anytime I step foot into Victoria’s Secret, I am blasted with a strong scent of delicious perfume.
One of my favorite smells is 100% pure nature. I love the smell of the outdoors, whether its the pine trees or luscious lavender stewing through the air. When I think back to my childhood, one of my best memories was of the lily of the valley flowers that grew on our hill. During the spring, you could smell them anytime the wind blew. Lily of the Valley are my favorite flowers and I think it’s because of those memories.
Another great scent is that of a rustic cabin. Just think of being surrounded by beautiful logs, propped up on a comfy couch in front of a toasty fire. What are you likely to smell? Pine. Cedar. Apple.
I buy all of my oils from Barefut. They are an online company that sells inexpensive, high-quality oils. You can read more about why I love their oils so much here.
