I’m not going to lie– I was one of those parents who couldn’t fathom how I was going to be able to love two kids, instead of just one. Maybe it’s because I was super obsessed and protective of our first son and also because he was four years old when we found out I was expecting his little sister.

Honestly, that was a ridiculous thing to worry about. However, what I didn’t anticipate was the feelings of guilt that I would have when I brought the new baby home. Immediately, I felt like our son wasn’t getting enough attention and it killed me. I tried to include him in as much as possible, while still feeling guilty.

Thankfully, the guilt subsided as myΒ mind and body adjusted to being a new mom again. Now that my son is now 5-years old and the baby is 6-months old, I still feel like my time is spread thin between feedings, changing diapers, and everything else that comes with having a little baby. But I don’t feel guilty.

One thing that has helped our family adjust from being 3-members to 4 is by including our son in on as much as possible, even when it comes to helping with the baby. Things he has helped with:

  • playing with baby
  • grabbing diapers/wipes in another room when I have run out
  • putting her dirty clothes in the hamper for me

He’s been more than happy to help out when needed. However, when we’re out and about, I still worried that he was feeling excluded. His little baby sister has everything: carseat, stroller, toys, diaper bag, etc. And I felt like he was dragging behind us at times and feeling a little “not as special”.

That’s why I am so excited to share a new stroller on the market: The Evenflo Sibby Travel System, which is available at Target. This unique stroller has a spot for baby and a spot for an older sibling to ride along. It’s suitable for babies that weigh between 4-35 pounds and for a rear-rider weighing up to 50 pounds.

Shopping for back-to-school has been much easier than expected, thanks to the awesome Evenflo Sibby Travel System. My sonΒ definitely feels special to have a designated spot on the stroller and it’s made going out much easier both mentally and physically for us!

Our little lady seemed to be very comfortable in the carseat as well. It’s well-padded and easy to get in and out of the car.

Overall, we LOVE the Evenflo Sibby Travel System. I highly recommend it to parents of two little ones. It’s a simple solution to make everyone feel included. Also, it helps when their little legs get too tired from walking. They can just hop on and ride!
