I am really excited to share some of my recent thrifting finds with you guys. I was born in the mid 80’s so I grew up in the 90’s. One of my favorite toys were those little tiny Polly Pockets. I had a few of them and miraculously managed to keep every little person, accessory, and animal to each set. Sadly, I haven’t kept anything from my childhood. If I had, I probably wouldn’t want to sell it so maybe it’s a good thing.

Anyways. I came across some awesome vintage Polly Pocket’s from the 90’s. Two of them are still in the original packaging—- SUPER RARE! I mean, what girl didn’t rip them out of the packaging as soon as they got one?!

These Polly Pockets are made by Bluebird. Nowadays, Mattel makes the new larger-sized Polly Pockets. They’re completely different than the Bluebird versions but still miniature compared to other dolls.

The old Polly Pockets could actually fit into your pocket or purse- the whole compact and all!

I bought these at an auction and they were all in the same box of toys:

Polly Pocket Cuddly Kitty: Pet Parade Collection (1994)
Polly Pocket Bathtime Fun w/ Ring and Ring Case: Keepsakes Collection (1994)
Polly Pocket Heart-Shaped Light-Up Castle (1992)

Vintage Bluebird Polly Pockets
Polly Pocket Traveling Case, Caboodle-Like Toy (1991)

Vintage Caboodle Polly Pocket
PLUS lots of Polly’s!!

Vintage Polly Pocket Dolls

I have sold about half of them so far. These are the types of items that are hard for me to let go… I don’t think that I had any of these particular Polly Pocket’s growing up. In fact, the only one that I remember having was the Safari/Zoo one but I know that I had more.

These are still really cool and I am sure that they will make some little girl or collector very happy!
